Gladfield Cream Ale

Gladfield’s Cream Ale recipe, scaled down to a 6 gallon all-grain/grainfather recipe pack.

Originating in America, cream ales are a very light, refreshing ale perfect for the summer months.

To help give it a crisper mouthfeel, this beer should be carbonated at 2.6-2.7 volumes.

The following is based on 70% efficiency:
Original Gravity: 1.048
Color (EBC): 5.9
Alcohol by Volume: 5.0%
IBU: 14.2

The full recipe pack contains all of the malt and individually vacuum sealed hop additions for a fermentation volume of 23L (6 gallons). The expected final packaging volume is 19L (5 gallons).

Want to make this kit your own? Purchase just the grain bill and hop the beer as you please.

Please note, kit does not include yeast. We recommend either:
2x US-05
2x M44
WLP001 with an appropriate sized starter
